Invitation division

Riley is starting to get invited to the birthday parties of her friends.  It is a big change since she is usually just tagging along to the parties that Leighton is invited to.  I didn't really think much of it, but both kids are having some adjustment issues!  When we were heading to Martha's party a few weekends ago, Riley sadly asked why Leighton wasn't coming with us several times before and during the drive to the party, and when she got her goodie bag at the end she gripped it so tight to ensure nothing would fall out and didn't open it until she was at home to show Leighton.  And Roy said that while we were gone, Leighton kept talking about what Riley must be doing at the party.  Sweet kids.

Riley did have a great time while we were playing at the party though!  She wasn't even her usual shy self that wouldn't do anything without me holding onto her.  She had a really fun time.
