Leighton's got skills!

We tend to work on the lazy end of the parenting spectrum and don't actively teach our kids to do things (like potty training) until they are good and ready so that it goes fast and smooth and easy.  Leighton showed interest in learning to tie shoes over the last little while, so Roy finally taught him earlier this month.  It was about 20 minutes after bath one night, and he had it mastered!  I didn't get pictures that night (lazy, remember?!?!) but I did the next night!

  1. I like his hat and the medal! I'm with you and letting them lead the way on most things- not worth the fight...

    1. Ha ha - yeah, Roy's shoe! He isn't far from fitting in mine though. I might actually have borrowed his Crocks a couple times to run out to the car!!!
