Here's what filled our time in February!

First up was Super Bowl ...

We brought Olive home from school for another play date after school ...

Poor Leighton got sick again.  After he was mostly recovered, he needed to go to his dentist appt.  Afterward, we were dropping Riley at soccer practice, but we had a bunch of time to kill.  We went and got bagels at our old favorite bagel shop from the neighborhood where we first lived in Houston. Then the kids convinced me to take them to Mcdonald's for ice cream!

I made these cookies and tags for Riley's class for Valentine's Day.  Leighton doesn't take Valentines anymore now that he's a middle schooler!

I got the kids a rose chocolate for Valentine's Day.

Lillian came to visit for a day.  It was also the day we were volunteering at Books Between Kids, so she joined us.

Roy and I went to the school auction for Riley's school.  We didn't get a picture of the two of us though.

I went with Riley's class (and whole grade) to the art museum for a field trip.

We walked home with Olive from school one day.

A big water main pipe was broken one Thursday part way through the day.  It flooded part of one our biggest highways and caused low or no water pressure to lots of homes (ours included!) and schools (including both Riley's and Leighton's) and businesses.  As a result, they needed to shut down school on Friday.  It was a gorgeous day!  I took the kids for ice cream and to the park.

There was also a lot of soccer - practices and games.  I don't have any photos though!  Just lots of videos because Leighton always wants me to video him playing these days.
