The first day they were here, we attempted to spend some time at the park, but it started raining very soon after we got there!
That night, Roy and I went to Lance & Monica's for an ugly sweater party. I even made some cookies to fit the theme.
On Monday, Riley had her ballet performance.
And on Tuesday, Leighton had his orchestra performance.
When we got home, it was the end of the GIANT bottle of scotch Dad got last time they visited. Don't feel too sorry for him though ... he had already bought a replacement!
Leighton also had his GT Expo at school. He presented his projects on the Statue of Liberty.
And after school, we did an ornament craft at the library.
And then we went to a little holiday party in the clubhouse at our apartment complex.
On the last day of school, Riley had her Songfest and Leighton had his class party.
That night we went to Mia's for dinner, and I walked for a bit with the kids, who were insanely excited for a photo with the nutcracker!
The next night we went to Zoo Lights.
On Sunday morning the kids cut out and decorated some sugar cookies.
Leighton delighted with some violin music and Riley played fashionista!
On Monday morning we walked in the rain to get supplies for making gingerbread houses.
And Riley gave us one more fantastic outfit!

It was so wonderful to be there for all those activities. We're very proud of our little ballerina and Leighton's violin playing.
