For the past couple of years, we've gone to Pauline & Mikkel's to watch the Super Bowl. We really never paid any attention to the game and were really there for the food and fun! But this year, Leighton has become really interested in football and watches the games, reads about it, and plays at school daily. So, we actually knew a little bit about the teams playing this year! I still was more involved in the food and fun than paying attention to the game though!
I made a bunch of cookies, and hopefully I will have all the photos of them up on my website soon for you to see!
Riley had decided earlier in the day that she needed something 'football-ish' to wear, so Roy took the kids shopping and she chose this Texans cheerleader dress. There is a turtleneck that goes underneath it, but it's been SO warm here that it wasn't needed!
Next year the Super Bowl is here in Houston, so it will be extra exciting for Leighton!
