On Friday night, the school held it's annual Mother-Son dance. The Daddy-Daughter dances are quite popular in the south, and so some moms at the school decided their sons needed a date night with their moms too, so they started this dance 3 years ago. This is the first year that Leighton and I attended though. We met some friends for dinner and then went to the school. Leighton refused to dance with me (too shy) but I did see hi grooving with his friends to their favorite song at one point.
While we were at the dance, Roy and Riley went shopping and out for dinner and had a date of their own!
On Sunday, we had a family 'date' with the Koys. We are so sad they aren't at the school anymore, but we try to get together when we can so the kids can all still see each other.
A couple of the photos aren't showing up for me, but the ones that I can see are cute. Leighton looks so grown up.
