Leighton's Birthday

For Leighton's birthday, he chose to be spoiled with gifts - and wanted ONLY books as his gifts!!  He also wanted his special meal out to be at Waffle House (always the breakfast obsessed boy!), so we found one of those near us to try out.  We also played baseball at the park for a few hours after that.  His actual birthday was a school day, so we opened his gifts quickly in the morning, had his requested dinner that night (eggs, hash browns, bacon, etc), and I made him an apple pie for dessert.  It feels so strange that he is already ELEVEN!
