Then we stopped for some picnic lunch supplies and headed to our first winery of the day in Sonoma. Roy and I enjoyed the tasting, and the kids enjoyed the chocolates they were given! We then looked at the hungry fish in the pond and the two donkeys.
Right across the street was the next winery we were heading to. We tried some great wines and also some olive oils, too. We picnicked outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and surroundings. We climbed up the tower before getting in the car and driving to find our hotel.
We got to the hotel with plenty of time to enjoy some time relaxing (not always how our itinerary works out!). We enjoyed our little patio area and Riley and I had a swim in the pool/hot tub.
I had hoped to spend some time exploring the town square, but some things had closed down and others closed so early in the day! We're not used to that! We did go there for dinner and some milk shakes though.
