BIG kid

Leighton was born average sized, but he quickly shot to the top of the percentile charts for height and weight and has remained there.  He was never one of those chubby babies with lots of rolls though.  Just super solid.  That is always how people would describe him when they'd pick him up - solid.  And he's still that way.

He always looks big to me, especially next to Riley, but when I was looking at these pictures from the playground after dinner last night, it really hit me that he's turning into a BIG kid.  Not just in size.  But more grown up.  I look at him now and don't see much 'baby' left in him and instead see how he will continue to grow into an even bigger kid.

    I love the idea of going to the park after dinner. And, yes, Leighton is definitely a big boy type kid.

    The park is always super busy in the evenings from about 5-7. We have gone a couple times and will likely go on the days Riley naps late and we need to stretch the evenings out until a later bedtime!
