It was hard to wake up knowing we only have a few hours left of our time in Chicago. We knew we wanted to get out for a little bit of fresh air and exploration, but didn't have time for too much once we ate breakfast and packed up. We decided to walk out on Navy Pier and see if we could find the penny press machine. It was another chance to walk by the water and we also got to see the W hotel with the rounded room at the top where we were a couple days before.
Then it was time to walk back to the hotel, collect our belongings, and take several 'last' photos on our journey back to the airport.

Leighton and Riley are wonderful travelers. They seem to enjoy it all. Speaking of which, Rotterdam was a destination on "Amazing Race" last week. Looks quite interesting as a blend of old (windmills) and new (skyscrapers).
ReplyDeleteI haven't even looked into the city at all since I've never found flights that are a reasonable price!
