Finally med free (and dressed!) around here!

It's been an eventful (and medicated) 10 days or so in the household!  Between feeling ill (me), a bad back flare up (me again), a fire ant bite leading to a giant, swollen, itchy, and burning foot and ankle (yup! me again! aren't I lucky?), and a fever (poor little Riley), we are finally all back to normal today.  Phew.

Yesterday the sick and tired little miss Riley even fell asleep next to me while she snuggled up and watched over my shoulder as I finished up my cake and cookie blog post.  Poor little thing.

I took advantage of the photobooth on the mac and took this picture for you (figured you'd rather see that than the ones of my foot I took to show my Dr!).

And then I stood up to help Leighton with something urgent ( you know, the copy function for his pictures of a crab in the sand and a bicycle - VERY pressing matter!) and she woke up, said she was hungry for a snack, and promptly fell back asleep.  Here's proof (and proof that Leighton mastered that copy function for the sand under the crab!).  Isn't she sweet?

And Leighton needed in on the photo action, as well, of course (and, yes, he is still in his pajamas at afternoon snack time ... if memory serves, he wore them straight until bath time!  Riley was sick, we weren't leaving the house, so apparently there was no motivation to get dressed!).

Reminds me of the picture of Leighton posing next to Riley's crib in this post from from last year ... back in the days when Riley napped for real!
