If you give a mouse (the kids) a cookie (play house) ...

It's very exciting when the temperature falls below 90 degrees and we can (comfortably) head outside to play!  Last Sunday we were treated to a cool (you know, like 86 degrees or something cool like that!) day and the kids took advantage.  First they got out their bikes, and Roy had to adjust both the seats since they'd grown so much since spring bike season!).

And then the rest of the afternoon played out like the 'If You Give a Mouse a Cookie' books.

If you give the kids a play house ...

... they are going to want to get the hose to wash it (just like with Grandma last year!)

If you give the kids a hose to wash the play house ...

... they are going to want to get buckets to fill up.

If the kids get the buckets to fill with water ...

... they are going to want to get the water squirters to wash the fence and Daddy's car.

If washing the car starts to create puddles on the ground ...

... the kids are going to want to jump in them.

If the kids want to jump in puddles ...

... they are going to need their boots.

If the kids have their boots on to keep their feet dry ...

... they are going to want to get their heads wet.

If the kids have wet heads ...

... you are going to have to suggest they head inside for a bath.

And chances are they are going to go back to playing with the play house to give those people a bath, too.
