While my parents were here visiting, my Mom helped me out by emptying and cleaning up from our gardening adventures from the spring and summer so we'd be ready in just a few, short months to plant again.
And then she dragged the playhouse we were given by our neighbors into the back yard to clean it up as well.
It was just your run-of-the-mill tidying up, but because the kids were sitting there eating watermelon and it was a warm, sunny day to spray the hose around, it felt much more like a bout of spring cleaning. The spring and autumn seasons in TX will take some getting used to!
This was much more fun than cleaning the oven and fridge in the Bronx last year. And Leighton and Riley were very helpful..."clean the pink, Riley."
