When I asked what I could bring, Naomi requested the mint chocolate chip cake that I made for Leighton's birthday (different recipes here and here). I know that she loves chocolate and that her favorite ice cream is peanut butter chocolate, so I decided to try a peanut butter chocolate cake as well. Here they are. Mmmm.

Two more spectacular looking cakes (and I am sure the taste matched the appearance). We had store bought ice cream for dessert...I said to myself, "Peppermint ice cream??? That is usually only available in the store at holiday time. Oh right, it is holiday time."
