Our first visitors from NYC!

We are SO excited that our friends John & Chris came to visit last weekend.  They were our first visitors from NYC .... funny how when we lived in NYC, we had a constant supply of couch crashers, but even with a guest bedroom and bathroom and pool, we aren't being bombarded here in Houston!!!  NYC is just a wee bit more of a vacation magnet, apparently!!

Their long weekend included a visit with some other friends in Katy and a night in Galveston to celebrate their 7th anniversary.  I still can't believe it's been 7 years!  To help them celebrate, I did a mini recreation of their cake for a big surprise for them (by the way - their cake was a Cake Boss cake!  This was *right* before he got super famous on TV.  How cool is that??!!).  Making the cake was so fun!

The weather was so dreary and wet while they were here, so we were just at home hanging out and visiting.  I didn't even get my camera out, but John did - here are some screen shots of his photos that he sent me!
