After a couple days with Winter (did I mention that when Leighton was around 2, he would walk around the house with a picture of Winter. He loooooved her!), we had two play dates with two of Leighton's other special girl friends.
On Saturday we surprised Leighton with a play date with Laila! Andy & Kyla and the kids were here visiting for a few days from California, and we were so happy to get a chance to see them. Leighton said his favorite part of the day was spinning Laila in the green skinny chair and playing with the tennis ball on the tennis court. Riley said her favorite part was playing with Laila's princesses with her. Both kids are eager to know when we can see them again. We're crossing our fingers they decide to move back after Andy's done school! Please, Kyla? Puh-leaaaaase?!?!?
Sunday, we had Clementine, Georgia, Kate & Garrick over for a happy hour play date. It was so much fun (and the kids were getting along so nicely!) that it turned into a dinner play date as well! The weather was gorgeous, so the adults spent the majority of the time outside eating and drinking while the kids split their time between inside and out with all of their games.
