Our April tradition of strawberry picking was continued a couple of weekends ago.
Before we left in the morning, we looked at pictures with the kids of when we went last year and the year before. It is really amazing to see how much they've grown (and amazing to see that Leighton can still fit into the same shorts!) and changed (including the first ever lost tooth for Leighton!).
We returned to Atkinson Farm again, but we were picking in a different field this year. The strawberries were the best we've picked yet. So many amazing ones to pick … and taste!

Vanilla tart with strawberries this weekend. Wish I was there!!
ReplyDeleteIf I hadn't had just made the raspberry one when you were here, I would have done the strawberry version!
Deletewow those strawberries look amazing! we planted some this year but it has been so cold i'm not sure if they will sprout :(
ReplyDeleteI planed a bunch last year and they struggled and gave a couple tiny berries and then fizzled out. They couldn't survive the heat of the summer.
DeleteYum yum yum...those are beautiful strawberries and great fun to pick each year.
ReplyDeleteThey were SO beautiful this year!
