Supercalafragalisticexpialadoshus!

Last week, all of the Kindergarten classes put on a spring music concert and sang songs from Mary Poppins.  They were asked to dress as a character of their choice from the movie, and Leighton decided on a chimney sweep.  I decided that for a 20 minute performance I wasn't going to spend a lot of money and/or time making a costume, so luckily we were able to put something together for less than $7 at Hobby Lobby.

Pauline had some black face paint we were going to use on the boys' faces, but she couldn't find it.  I told Leighton I was going to use some of my makeup and he was SO excited.  Later on he came to me and told me he didn't think the makeup would work because chimney sweeps don't have pink faces, but I assured him I had colors other than pink!  He loved getting it on in the morning and kept looking in the mirror showing me spots that needed more.

I took a video of the singing and a clip of Leighton doing his speaking part (one of the 2 kids chosen from his class!) but my stupid, stupid, stupid phone deleted them as I went to download them the other night.  I am SO glad I have a new phone this week!
