We are loving all the little tiny baby lizards all over the pathways at the apartment complex. Some of them are SO teeny tiny.
Leighton found a new yogurt he thought was pretty delicious!

Riley completely zonked out while Roy had to carry her back to the car!
Our first walk to Costco from the apartment. It's a new favorite activity!
I was trying to convince Leighton to get rid of some clothes that are getting too small and that he's been wearing since he was Riley's age (the kid WILL NOT let go of things!) and so I got them both to try on the same outfit :) How is it possible that they fit in the same clothes?!?!
Lindsey saved my sanity and life one day and picked us up while my car was at the mechanic the week before our big trip and I needed to run a bunch of errands. She spent a couple hours with all FIVE kids at the Galleria while I had a desperately mandatory bra fitting done. Here are the kids all packed into the car, playing with her in the mall, and then eating Chik-Fil-A lunch while we drove to my hair appointment. Even baby Rosemary is smiling when you see her in the mirror. Cute kids! Great friend to help me out! Taking my TWO to the Galleria can be a gong show and she took FIVE!
Our apartment complex has an annual pool party. We swam and had dinner (catered by a BBQ place we hadn't tried yet - yummy!) and met a few people and I even won a door prize - a gift certificate to a wine bar near here! I joked that we need to chat up some of the younger tenants so they could babysit for us! Here is Riley having her dinner.
I made Leighton a new lunch - a banana and peanut butter rolled up in a tortilla. The thought it was pretty great!
And then we went on our fantastic trip to Seattle and Vancouver. I will do a separate post for that since I will want to include a zillion pictures.
The night after we got back, Scott and Dana were SO generous to share their Astros tickets with us. And they weren't just ordinary tickets - they were Scott's corporate tickets for the Diamond Club. They included parking about 2 feet from the doors, a giant buffet dinner with everything from shrimp to curried chicken lettuce wraps to fresh wood fired pizza to a candy bar to fried chicken and brisket. To take out to our seats, we had all sorts of treats - fruit cups, veggie cups, nachos (and not ordinary bagged tortilla chips - fresh yummy ones!), fresh baked soft pretzels, popcorn, ice cream sundaes, and on and on. The seats were in the 7th row behind home plate. We had a really fun time. And Dana sent a few emails while we were there because they caught sight of us while watching the game on TV at home!

The next day Dana and I took the kids bowling.
And then Riley & Katherine had a fun play time before the big boys' basketball game on Saturday.
