In the afternoon/evening, we went Pat's for a visit and then to the apartment where Kevin & Veronica and Roy's parents are all staying for dinner.
The next morning, we planned to meet up with our friends Karl & Rachel and their little guy Colton at a playground. My parents, Rita & Joe & the girls, Roy's whole family, and Melinda's family all joined, too. We had a huge group and a huge amount of fun! It was fun to have everyone together and for all the kids to play together. Makes me wish we lived closer to everyone and not spread apart between different countries and continents and cities.
Karina sent me this super picture of Clyde and Roy together:
In the afternoon, we went to Clyde & Melinda's apartment. It was a good chance to sit and chat with Troy and Karina, who we've been waiting to meet for so long! And the kids were excited for some swimming. The kids were pretty excited to see the bear for some photos.
And then we went for dinner at one of our old favorite Greek restaurant with my parents, Clyde & Melinda, Melinda's family, and Rita & Joe & the girls. It was very nostalgic being back there - and crazy that our same server was still working there so many years later! The owners who Roy knew really well had sold it though.
On the way home, we quickly took the kids for ice cream at a little old fashioned ice cream parlor right near Rita & Joe's.
Then we sat outside having wine with Brent during the sunset.
The next morning, we got to see Kirsten, who flew in the night before! We met her and my parents at the playground. Rita and Joe and the girls came, too.
We spent the afternoon with Kevin & Veronica & the kids and Roy's parents and a very special visitor - Roy's granny! She flew in the night before!
We said goodbye to all of Roy's family. We were all sad, but poor Leighton was crying so much. I felt so bad for him to have to say bye. He absolutely LOVED meeting and playing with his cousins and knew it would be so long until they had a chance to all be together again. I felt the same way.
We then went to meet my parents and Kirsten for ice cream. We went to Dairy Queen - I loved the chance to have a SKOR Blizzard since in the US there is only Heath Bar. NOT the same thing! And Leighton was pretty excited to try his first Blizzard.

| I had to laugh at this sign. If it requires you to stop, read directions, and then park, maybe it isn't the easiest solution for traffic flow?!?! |

| I ate every single bite! |
We then had to say goodbye to my parents and Kirsten. It was sad to say bye to them, too.
The kids had one last late night of playing with Siena and Alyssa while I packed and organized. They had a great time, as usual.
