We went to Landon's birthday party. Riley and Morgan were so cute with the 3 legged race.
Leighton was a soccer scoring machine.
Grandma and Papa came to visit. They kept us company and helped with routines while Daddy was away in Belgium and Washing, DC for work. We did walks to school, a day at the zoo, ate at Five Guys, found some baby birds and their nest fallen out of a tree and Grandma saved them, watched Leighton's (messy slushy soccer!), took Papa to buy scotch at Specs, swam a lot, went for an adults lunch and museum morning, had lots of ice cream, watched Leighton's orchestra performance, and went to a baseball game! It was a busy and fun visit!
My camera died one morning as I was trying to photograph a cake. Luckily my mom was there to help diagnose the problem and get me to a camera store to get a new one!
My parents got the kids some James Hardens before the left for the airport. I practiced with my new camera trying to get shots of them with their James Hardens!
Leighton had an awards night at school for students on the Honor Roll. Riley picked her nose and had a staring contest with Georgia ;)
1st Grade had an awards morning.
Then it was time for Riley's class to have their little graduation and for Leighton to sit in the audience.
And Leighton had his China Project day at school.
The kids wanted to take turns taking photos with my camera and then wanted some silly selfies.
.... Then the flood happened ... I will leave that for a separate post ...
The kids had their last day of school.
And we took all the crazies to the Elkousy's for dinner one night.
And Leighton's soccer season finished up:
