Riley and Leighton have their first SLEEPOVER!

Roy's building is celebrating the 5th anniversary, and to honor the occasion, his boss hosted a dinner party this past weekend.  Our babysitter had something come up for school, so we asked a couple friends if they could help us out with the kids.  Kim offered to come over or to have the kids sleepover at their place.  I didn't mention the sleepover part to our kids, but they remembered a previous conversation, and decided all on their own that they wanted to go stay the night!!!  So that meant their very first sleepover at someone's house without us.  And it meant the first time in 8 years, 4 months, and 4 days that I have ever spent a night away from the kids (Roy has for work!) and that we've woken up to no kids needing breakfast and attention!

Kim sent a couple pics of the kids to us of the kids playing and learning to use chopsticks!

According to Kim and Chris our kids were polite and ate well ... but Riley was a bit silly at bedtime ;) But all in all they didn't sound like they were too big of monsters for them!

We are so so so so SO thankful to Kim and Chris for being willing to take on 4 kids overnight!!!

Last week, Roy and I went shopping for new clothes to wear and I got a dress I love.  I also got some new shoes :)  Kim and I went for a mani pedi on Friday, and I got my hair done on Saturday, too!  But then, it was dark and the kids weren't here to take pictures for us, so we didn't get any good ones, sadly.  This is as good as it gets!
