On the way to the park, Riley asked if I'd race her and she continued on to tell me not to worry because she'd take it easy on me!!

Riley saw 2 men driving in a black convertible and said, "Look Mommy, it's a BARBIE car!!!" All convertibles are now Barbie cars!

We were driving on the highway and Leighton must have read a sign about the shoulder of the road because he said, "I think someone broke their arm." We asked where and when, and he said, "because that sign just said there was shoulder work." It was so innocent and cute!

Today the kids were having some dried okra as part of their snack, and Leighton said, "I really like the orca!"

I was calling the kids to the table for lunch on the weekend, and when Riley saw there was bacon, she said, "What? Bacon? Bacon is usually for dinner." I had to explain to her that although we usually only have bacon as part of a couple dinner meals, most people would consider it a breakfast food not a dinner food!!
