The kids were excited to get their class shirts for the year!
We went to a Dynamo game and went into the tunnel before the game again. Leighton was pretty pleased to have Tim Howard go by!
We put on our Canada gear for Canadian Thanksgiving.
Riley had to have two teeth pulled because the adult teeth were in and waiting to take their places!
There was a little swimming.
And lots of soccer!
When Grandma and Papa came, we slept on the floor in the kids' room. Riley snuggled over to the edge of her bed and rested her arm on Roy. So cute!
We went on a road trip with Grandma and Papa to South Padre Island to attend Heather's wedding. It was such a fun trip! It was great to see everyone and the weather was perfect! While we were there, we celebrated Leighton's birthday. The timing worked wonderfully to go on a dolphin watching cruise that day, and dolphins have always been one of his favorite animals, so that was really special! We also went out for a very giant pizza for dinner!
We had the school Fall Carnival.
And there was Halloween! Riley wanted to be a ballerina and Leighton wanted to be Ash from Pokemon. Riley wore her costume from her May performance, and together mom and I made Leighton's costume. We went trick or treating in the same neighborhood where Roy's colleagues live like we did last year. It was fun for Grandma and Papa to see the big city action! The kids had a blast handing out candy again!
