Leighton asked what arachnophobia was after hearing about it on TV. I told him that phobia meant fear and arachnid was spider, so it meant dear of spiders. He then said, "And what is claustrophobia again? Fear of Santa Claus?"

On the weekend, Riley was saying we need to 'un-flate' the donut pool float.

Leighton said something was 'singing with the fishes' instead of 'swimming with the fishes'.

Somehow Leighton started asking some questions about Jesus and God, so Roy asked if he remembered who Jesus was. Leighton answered, "Yeah! he was the one who died on a BBQ on Easter, right?" Roy then gave the kids a little rundown on the coles notes version of God and Jesus.

Today Riley called Amar's car a porch. She didn't know it was Porsche.
We'll never be able to have a BBQ on Easter again without laughing!
