2018 Destin, FL road trip - Day 3

Our hotel didn't include breakfast, so we finally had an opportunity to eat at a Waffle House.  The kids had been asking after seeing them EVERYWHERE on EVERY road trip we talk around here!  It did not disappoint!  Food was really good diner breakfast food.  I had researched several along our route to make sure we stopped at one that was clean and with good reviews ... they aren't all created equal once you start reading reviews!

We then drove the rest of the short way to Biloxi.  We had decided to stop for a night at the Margaritaville hotel there because they had a fun looking pool with a lazy river, water slides, and a swim up bar.  There is also a big arcade and several restaurants.

It wasn't check in time when we got there, so we got wristband for the pool and spent a couple hours there.  The room still wasn't ready when it was supposed to be, but the upgraded us to a balcony room that was ready.  

We ate a picnic dinner in the room, watched some sports on TV, went to the arcade, and then spent a little time at the pool at night before it closed.

Riley cuddled into bed with us and was really goofy ....

and then she crashed about 30 seconds later!
