2018 Destin, FL road trip - Day 6

We woke up extra early to have breakfast before driving into Destin to get our pontoon boat rental for the day.  Like last year, we go the kayak again.  The kids both took turns driving the boat.  We had fun looking at fish and hermit crabs and shells.  And we got ice cream and played in the water at Crab Island again, too.

When we got back to the hotel, the kids decided they just wanted to go to the pool for a while instead of to the beach.

We had a nice Happy Hour and then went to Grimaldi's for dinner.

I asked the kids to stand for a nice picture together before it got dark.  Riley was NOT interested in cooperating ....

Right before dinner I got a bit better of a smile, but the light was already gone.
