Summer vacation: Week 1

I enjoyed doing these posts last summer so I could keep track of all the fun things we did.  But this summer, I am so far behind in posting that I don't remember a lot of what we did!  And to make it worse, I haven't been taking my real camera with me very often, so I only have a few pictures from my phone for most weeks.  But, for this first week, I do have loads of photos so at least we will start things off right!!!

Monday
We spent the earliest part of the morning at a playground with some friends and then went to the Y, where I worked out while the kids went the Kid Zone (I thought this was a wonderful start to the summer, but after two more times, Riley now refuses to go again).  In the afternoon, Lindsey and the kids came to swim

Tuesday
We had planned to go to the zoo in the morning with some friends, but the weather didn't cooperate, so we went to the Galleria instead.

Wednesday
I am not sure what we did!  I want to guess we went to Miss Missy's story time, but I could be wrong!

Thursday
We started the day with a trip to get groceries.  Little Miss Riley decided to relax in the cart and thought she was so funny.

The rest of this week was VERY exciting for us because our friends Rita, Joe, Siena, and Alyssa came to visit.  I am going to give them their own special post just to celebrate how wonderful it was to have them here!
