Leighton started tennis with Joshua and Noah this morning. It was with the same coach & program that he had lessons with in the spring. From there, we went to the zoo to splash with friends and for a ride on the carousel.
Tuesday
We spent the morning at my friend Anthea's. While the kids played, I helped Anthea with some photos of her products that she's about to start selling in an etsy shop. She makes the most amazing craft kits! When she has her etsy shop up and running, I will let you all know!
Wednesday
After tennis, we went to HEB for story time. We missed Meagan over the year and were happy to be back! And then it was off to Miss Missy story time after that. I have a little video clip of the kids doing the dancing song at the end - it's funny because Riley is right in front of Leighton for the first half so you can't see her, but there is a little girl beside Leighton in pink with fluffy hair that keeps looking at him, so you could almost think it's Riley until she emerges from being hidden in front of him at almost the exact same time the other little girl turns and starts waving to her parent/nanny/grandparent.
Thursday
In the morning, Leighton had tennis and then we played at our house with Pauline's boys while she ran some errands. And then we all went off to the movies! There are several theaters here that play old movies for cheap in the summer. We saw Ice Age: Continental Drift. All the kids had popcorn and we had so much fun!
Friday
We spent the morning at a soccer clinic for Leighton and Joshua. They had lots of fun but me, Riley and Pauline all got bit by fire ants while we were there. Luckily, we had our Benadryl to take right away and ice to help sooth the itch and burn. In the afternoon, we went to Douniazed's for a swimming party to celebrate the beginning of the World Cup. And then we rushed off to basketball practice. This was a monumental night at practice - not for Leighton, but for Riley because after many months of knowing them and spending time with them, she *finally* talked to, played with, and wasn't totally terrified of Mikkel! She is SO shy of people, especially Dads! I took this video and you can even see Pauline laughing at me for documenting it to show Roy :)

You are doing so much! I can't keep up with you. :)
