The funny things they say: January 2015 edition

Roy and Riley were outside get some fresh air despite the cold and rain, and Roy was putting on the hood of his jacket.
Riley: I wish I had a hood (she had chosen a jacket without one)
Roy: Maybe next time!
Riley: Oooh, what a burn!

We were having lunch and Leighton looked at the Pringles he was eating and said, "I wonder why they are all humping?" (he was wondering why they were all curved and nested together!  you know, humping!)

Once again, Riley told us she was a 'drama monster'!

Riley was doing puzzles with Roy and finished one Frozen Elsa puzzle and then went to get a new puzzle.  She came back and held out the new puzzle and said, "Apparently."  It was pretty funny that she was trying to use the word 'apparently'!

Riley: No.  Only my mom and dad.
Zain: Where were you?

Riley saw Elias with his hat on backwards and said he was trying to be a real man!

Riley put on the butterfly shirt that grandma had made her and I said something about it being a summer shirt.  She informed me that she knew I really liked it and chose it to make me happy!  Hard to argue with that!
