Douniazed, who was at the Easter Egg Hunt in part one of our fantastic Easter celebration, had invited us over for some fun and an early dinner with her family and some friends on Sunday afternoon. They live really close to us (Leighton and I counted to 103 the other day when we walked home from a play date!), which made it quick and easy for me to run back home for bathing suits for me, Roy, and Riley since we had only taken Leighton's thinking he'd be the only one going in. It was a hot afternoon though, so we all were in the pool. Drinking mojitos (and red wine, but I had the mojitos and it's my blog so I get to choose the focus, right?). Did I mention that already?!?!
Sunday was sunny and warm here, but the 2 feet of snow still in the yard made swimming out of the question even if we had a pool. The lake looks inviting, but you know it will be months before you can stand in it and still feel your toes 5 minutes later. I love that you are able to enjoy the pool and summer weather.
