Recon mission

We are loving the neighborhood that we are living in right now, but we are only renting and moved here knowing it was a temporary location while we got the lay of the land.  We are eager to explore other areas of Houston to see and learn as much as we can so we are best equipped to start house hunting when the time comes.

Today's mission: Sienna Plantation.  I had come across Sienna while doing some real estate searches before Roy had even signed his contract.  I fell in love with the neighborhood water parks, the abundance of waterfront properties, and the amazing affordability.  We thought we'd spend some time there today, and drove through some neighborhoods, shopped at the grocery store for a picnic lunch, and played at a playground.  It is a lovely area with stunning homes and lots of established trees and green space, but we wonder if it isn't a little too far of a commute.

When we got home, Daddy and Leighton worked on creating a new shirt for Leighton.  They chose the shirt, stamps, and ink at our first trip to Hobby Lobby this morning (stores like that are dangerous, but we managed to walk out without spending too much!).

Riley was busy mowing the lawn and just generally being cute.
