Daddy Day!

Yesterday Roy took the morning off work so we could go car shopping (Roy needs a car for commuting to work since I really need to start driving the other one - eek!).  As we were heading out the door, we got a call from our friend who works at the dealership saying that he was at home sick.  Plan cancelled. 

Since Roy was already planning to be at home for the morning, he treated us to a morning of Daddy fun!

We went to Central Market, a more 'gourmet' grocery store that we've been told about many times and grabbed picnic supplies (A picnic.  In FEBRUARY!) and searched out a new playground.




Car shopping will have to wait for another day!  Anybody have any inexpensive car suggestions for us???

    i know of one... but it's buried under about 3 feet of snow in mom and dad's yard :P

    picnic.. IN FEBRUARY! love it. it's been gorgeous here this week too - spent a couple of hours seaside yesterday - without a jacket!

    Lucky you! Imagine that, picnics in Feb!

    What are you looking for in a vehicle? My sister drives a 4 door Hyundai Accent, which she loves. We've even had two car seats in it. Great for commuting but not for long hauls.

      Today it was 80 degrees. So crazy to get used to this!

      We think we are looking for a small commuter car that we could all fit in if we needed/wanted as well. Thanks for the Hyundai suggestion. Will check it out.
