Winter storm warning

I was just checking the latest in the weather forecast and saw the red 'winter storm warning' banner but assumed it was for NYC or where my parents live since I have both places saved into my weather.com along with Houston.  I clicked through a few things before realizing it was HOUSTON with a WINTER STORM WARNING!

So it seems as thought we may just have some sort of wintry mix in the morning!

It will be interesting to see what happens because now it will likely be just enough to cause all sorts of commuting troubles because the roads will be slippery.  It's not like we will get some beautiful fluffy snow to play in.  Nope.  It will be the part of winter precipitation that we all hate.  It will be that slushy, icy, slop falling from the sky resulting in slippery roads and sidewalks.  Making the school have to reschedule the jog-a-thon for another day.  And causing Roy to grumble and complain that the he thought we had moved away from this awful winter stuff to have to drive in!  And likely making any of plants that are still surviving very, very mad at me.  I think I might need to go start dragging what I can into the garage before it is too wet and cold.
