Michael came to visit!

It was a very exciting day when Michael emailed to let me know that he'd be attending a conference in Houston and would be in town for a few days.  They tried to make it work for Lori and the boys to come too, but in end, Michael came on his own.  The first night he was in town, he came over for a visit and for dinner.  It was so nice to see him!  It had been 5 years!  They were still living in NYC when we were in Seattle a couple years ago, and they were already living in Seattle when we went to NYC this fall, so we've not had the chance to see them.  Hopefully we can all get together very soon.

(and don't ask why the kids were wearing winter pajamas when it was 85 degrees outside!  weirdos!)
