Kidding ...
He did have his first paying gig a couple of weekends ago, however. Lindsey and Charlie were away for the weekend and needed someone to feed their fish, Nemo. Leighton agreed to the job and so Nemo slept here for a couple nights. He was very serious about the job and was very concerned who would watch Nemo while we were out at a birthday party. So responsible! Leighton fed him and the kids kept him company by talking to him and drawing him pictures and bringing other sealife (of the stuffed variety) to sit by the bowl (box?!?). They were both sad to see Nemo go home and talked about wanting a pet a lot for a few days after, but luckily for us, it hasn't been mentioned for a while now!
Wonderful for Leighton to have the experience of caring for a fish and making money.

Deleteand you can teach him about taxes by making him give you a percentage of everything he earns ;)
