Rediscovering Discovery Green

Last spring when we went to Discovery Green we all had such a fun time and were excited to plan a return visit.  It only took us about 14 months - whoops!

The kids played on the playground a little bit.

And then we were off to splash in the Gateway Fountain (fun to look back at the photos from last year to see how much the kids have grown!)  There was a woman there taking photographs for some promotional materials and she really liked getting shots of our kids.  Will be interesting to see if their faces show up on the pamphlets or not!

Of course an ice cream treat in the shade was needed.

We then walked over to Phoenicia to grab some lunch and to stock up on a few grocery items that we really like from there.  We hadn't been to this location yet, but were excited to see that they had the pitas coming on the conveyor belt just like the other locations.  The ladies bagging them up offered a sample to the kids.  And while I was getting some shawarma, the man behind the counter decided our kids needed some strawberries so he grabbed some from the cooler from them.  The food from here is so yummy!
