Christmas is coming!

This afternoon, the kids and I went to HEB during the Holiday Extravaganza so they could decorate some ornaments to help decorate the tree (and of course, to bring home as well!).





Holiday decorations are up all over town, but it's still a bit early for me to commit to the Christmas season.  I reserve the right to wait until after (American) Thanksgiving!  Then I will get serious about my shopping and start planning my holiday baking!

    OK rub it in...a Christmas activity in a T-shirt and a sundress. Do kids in Houston dream of a white Christmas?

      Mine do. Leighton has been talking about snow a lot lately and wishing for it to happen. He was even doing snow angels on the carpet the other night! And he's been talking about the Holiday Train Show at the NYBG longingly. I suggested a winter vacation to NYC sometime in the next few years so he can see it all again.
