Day 6 - Destin, FL road trip

Day 6 - Destin, FL to Biloxi, MI to New Orleans

We packed up the car and began our journey back.

We drove past Crab Island where we had been a couple days before ...

And then left FL ...

And entered Alabama ....

And drove straight through until we got to Mississippi ...

We stopped at Slap Ya Mamma's for some BBQ for lunch ...

And then we went to see the Sharkhead's store to stretch our legs a bit and to take some fun pictures.

And then onto Louisiana - 4 states in one day!

We got to the hotel and took the kids to the rooftop pool as promised.

And then had some drinks and snacks at Happy Hour before walking for beignets.  We decided we should try the new location of Cafe Beignet instead of Cafe du Monde.  The beignets were ok but not as good as Cafe du Monde and the price and atmosphere weren't appealing, so I think from now on it's back to Cafe du Monde.  Why mess with a good thing?!?
