Houston Astros WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!

What an exciting year in baseball for Houston!  We had so much fun watching and cheering on the Astros to victory.   I even taught Leighton how to keep score finally!

When we got this email, the kids were so excited!

I wanted to take them to the parade, but most of our friends weren't wanting to brave the crowds.  We attempted to be responsible and take the train down instead of worrying about driving and parking, but the trains were SO packed that we couldn't get on.  We were with Jenny and the kids and she decided to brave it and drive last minute, and we totally lucked out and found a street parking!  But, we were WAY later than we wanted to be and it was so busy by then we couldn't cross the road over to where Lance and Landon were with a great view and lots of space.  It was fun, but we couldn't see a thing!!
