I wasn't able to be an official volunteer on Friday due to the little lady glued to my hip, but she and I went to help out where we could and to cheer the kids on. They all had a really fun time and looked adorable in their special outfits.

Field Day
Friday was Field Day at school for Leighton. He was really looking forward to it for weeks, and the fact that his class was going to decorate shirts and hats to wear really put the icing on the cake for him! The potato sack race was the one event he was eager to try out more than any other. I used to love Sports Day when I was in school (AND when I was teaching!), and any races at community events, too.
