Spring Break post #5: Waterwall Park

Every time I have taken the kids to the Galleria or we drive near that area, we see this fantastic, gigantic fountain that they want to go see.  I wasn't sure exactly where to park and walk over to it until recently.  When we were coming up with our plan for the day and decided to do some shopping at the Galleria, I promised the kids to finally make side trip to see the fountain.

It was worth the wait!

We also learned the name: Waterwall Park.

Here are some photos my Mom took so you can get an idea of how big it is:

And here are some photos we both took of us all enjoying being there:

I can't wait to come back on a warmer morning when the mist will feel refreshing instead of chilly!  The kids also loved running on the banks surrounding the grassy area, so we will surely return. It makes for an excellent pre-shopping activity since the mall only opens at 10 and we could often benefit from being out of the house a wee bit earlier.

  1. We had our wedding at the Westin Galleria and our guests loved going over there to the fountain. It's awesome, isn't it? I have a picture of it I'd love to show you sometime. The photo of you with the kids is so great.
