Steak, steak, steak for dinner!

On Sunday, the kids and I ran to Lowe's for (what I thought would be) one final bag of soil and 2 final strawberry plants to complete the gardening marathon (turns out I had to return on Monday again ... the man that commented on Saturday and Sunday that I was back was working again and laughed when I said this was it ... he didn't believe me!).  On the way there, we drove past Outback Steakhouse.  I noticed the smell.  It smelled goooood.  On the way home, we drove past Saltgrass Steakhouse.  I noticed the smell.  And it smelled so good I think I drooled.  We got home, told Daddy, figured we were out of time to cook, cashed everyone up, changed out of gardening clothes, and piled in the car.  "Steak, steak, steak for dinner!" was heard from the back seat.  We went to Outback because we have been before and know what to order that the kids like and they have coloring and crayons.  And mojitos.  And ice cream.  Perfect!  We haven't been to Saltgrass to know these things yet, and this wasn't the night to experiment.  Too hungry!

Think the kids liked dessert?!?!
(And do you notice their matching tops?  My Mom made those for them.  Remember their matching ones from last year, too?  Riley chose this one to wear for the day and Leighton changed what he was wearing just so he could match!).
