Tuesday morning, we met our realtor and the realtor of the new place we're renting to get the keys. It was very exciting! We started putting loads into our cars all week to take over without really having to pack it up in boxes carefully!
On Wednesday we did more moving. And in the evening, I took the kids to the Meyers' for a going away party with lots of the kids' friends.
Thursday we did more loads of stuff to the new place. The kids had fun playing out front in the driveway.
I had a charity come Friday for all the furniture and a lot of other 'stuff' we didn't want. They took so much. It was great to clear it out! We could have sold most of it to make some money for new things, but it's too complicated to do that from an apartment. The kids were left with lawn chairs for watching TV, which was on the floor since we got rid of the TV console! We also swam and relaxed in the evening. The kids were excited to have dinner in front of the TV - so we used the big tubs from Eric and Daly as tables for them! They also found it pretty amusing to lay on top of the mattress that was already being moved out of the way on top of our bed!
Saturday was more moving. And more clearing out of junk. We kept moving our cars to the best place for loading them up from the apartment, and at one point I ended up with Roy in Riley's booster (which she no longer has since since she's met the requirements to just be in a regular seat now!) in my back seat. I almost peed my pants laughing so had to take a picture of it. In the evening we all swam together and watched some baseball on the floor!
Sunday was another day filled with moving and swimming!
