Summer Vacation Day 14 - Happy Valley and Portland

We all loaded up into 2 cars to head into Portland for some touristing around.  First we went to Blue Star for donuts since Voodoo apparently always has a line.  Well, this one had a long line and difficult parking.  So, it didn't end up working very well!

From there, we attempted to go to the Rose Test Garden. Unfortunately, it was PACKED and no parking anywhere there.  Soooo ... onto The Moda Center to go to the team store for Leighton to get a souvenir.  Except ... it was closed for the holiday.  Another fail!

We all needed lunch by then.  Jon suggested a place and we started driving there.  But I checked the directions online and noticed it was also closed for the holiday!  Craziness with all our bad luck!!  We needed up at a food truck park with a great indoor area to sit.  Our food was really, really good!

In the afternoon, we went to play at a park for a while.

Papa's still got it at 80!

For dinner, we made some pizzas.  The kids had fun rolling the dough with Grandma!
