A fun Labor Day weekend!

On Saturday morning we drove to San Antonio to meet up with Lillian and her mom and sister at Target. The first plan was to surprise all the kids, but there was no way to surprise Leighton if we were driving to San Antonio because he'd know we were seeing Lillian or would be really upset that we weren't!  So it was supposed to be a surprise for Lillian but she saw some texts on her moms phone between us and figured it out!

The kids went to spend the night with them while Roy and I had a night out on our own.  We've had date nights at home and a few times the kids have slept over at friends together, but we've never been at a hotel together since before Leighton!

We started with shopping and then went to a sangria place for drinks and then to a rum distillery for a tasting and tour and then out for tapas for dinner.

The kids did crafts and hung out and went to a fair.

We picked the kids up Sunday afternoon and came home.

Monday I took the kids to Avery's birthday party and they had fun in the pool with Wyatt and Cameron and Avery.
