Summer vacation: Week 10

Monday
This was actually the last day of our vacation :)

Tuesday
Since we were still stuck in the Pacific Time Zone, we all slept in!

Wednesday
We intended to go to HEB story time, but once again, we slept in!

Thursday
Since the Fish Gallery story time is late in the day, we managed to make it!  It was the first and only time we went this summer.  Leighton and Riley enjoyed the stories and touch tanks and craft and snacks, but I think they loved the most was feeding the fish!

As part of dinner, we did another chip tasting, just like last year!  There are two other flavors out as well, but the cappuccino didn't sound appealing to me (I should have grabbed it for Roy though!) and they didn't have the other one at the store I was at.  The kids LOVED the Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese.  Roy, too.  I liked the flavor of the Mango Salsa, but only for a few chips and then it was just kind of weird on a potato chip.  Would be much better as a flavored tortilla chip.

Friday
Kim and the boys picked us up, and we drove out to Monkey Joe's to play.  Monica and the kids and Lindsey and the kids also met us there.  Leighton was great about taking Riley around with him at first, so she got really comfortable and brave.  At the end she even started doing one of the big slides by herself and asked me to go take a video of her!

And she was super excited to have Kim braid her hair :)  Especially because it came over one shoulder like Elsa!

She returned the favor by doing Kim's hair for her while the boys were having basketball practice (their last one of the summer season!) later on!
