We spent the morning swimming at the Y with Jenny and the kids and Michelle and the girls. Jenny brought their underwater camera and Leighton had loads of fun taking some photos with it. We want one now!
Tuesday
In the morning we went to a puppet show presentation by the Fire Dept at the library and in the afternoon we went to IKEA for more Tuesday free lunch and art class and ice cream, of course!
Wednesday
We had Sam and Grace come to play while Anne was at an appointment, and when she got back we all went swimming.
Thursday
We met some friends at the zoo in the morning. We spent some time with Kim and Koli and Kai in the Swap Shop (and they were SO nice to share some finds with the kids so that they could start accounts of their own and trade in some points!) and then headed to the splash park. After we dried off we played a while longer with Kim and the boys in the Children's Zoo and had a picnic lunch. We were surprised we lasted so long in the heat!
Friday
In the morning, we went to see Rio at the cheap summer theater with Pauline and the boys. In the afternoon they came over to swim, and then I got the kids dressed as cows for free Chick-Fil-A day en route to basketball practice.
Saturday
Leighton had a basketball game in the morning and then we were off to a pool party birthday party.
