Leighton was excited about getting his picture with this in the Spokane airport.
And here is Riley with her backpack since we didn't do a picture on our first airplane day the week before.
The flights back were great. The kids had fun with their envelopes and movies and snacks again.
When we got home, it was dinner time. We were trying to figure out where to stop and eat that wasn't a burger place, and Leighton excitedly suggested IHOP. The kids LOVE breakfast for dinner and he has always wanted to eat there for some reason (we did once when we lived in the Bronx but that was soooooo long ago he doesn't remember), so we figured it was a great idea! The both ate really well and ask to go back all the time now! We haven't yet, but we will, I'm sure!
Papa will be excited to hear you went to IHOP because for some reason he would choose that as his food destination in Spokane when he was picking up Retallack guests. Breakfast for dinner sounds like a great plan.
ReplyDeleteLots of restaurants offer "Breakfast served all day" but in July I stopped at one that said "Dinner served all day". I was there around 8:30 am.
